We envision to keep delivering consistent results to better serve our clients.This position will be based in our Office in Cayman in a full in person work model.Main ResponsibilitiesOversee accounting, tax and finance processes including journal entries, reconciliations, fixed assets, and financial reporting;Ensure accurate and timely execution of accounts payable and receivable processes, including vendor management, invoice processing, and payment scheduling;Support the preparation and delivery of financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements;Coordinate tax compliance activities including SPED ECD reporting, transfer pricing documentation, and audit support;Contribute to ERP system standardization and process automation initiatives across finance operations;Ensure adherence to internal controls, corporate policies, and group accounting standards;Lead initiatives to improve financial processes, controls, and operational efficiency;Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Legal, Compliance, and IT to support corporate governance and reporting;Reporting to the company’s stakeholders (financial reports)Reports dotted line to Finance Director, in Brazil and also to the Accounting team, based in Cayman Islands.RequirementsExperience: 6 years of experience in Accounting/Tax/Controlling, preferably in financial services or offshore structuresKnowledge: IFRS, US GAAP, FATCA, CRS, Transfer Price, Microsoft Office, Project Management (Oracle is desirable)Education: Bachelor degree in AccountingLanguage: Fluent in English; Spanish or Portuguese is desirableDesirable previous experience in Big4 firm or international financial servicesSkills: Analytical, attentive to details, hands-on, good interpersonal relationship, communicationDiversity:At Patria we do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.
