This role will involve supporting Senior Management in facilitating seamless communication and ensuring that outsourced operations align with expectations. The Senior Manager will also be responsible for the oversight and ensuring the day-to-day functions are carried out in a timely manner, managing client relationships, andsupporting the growth and development of the business. The role also involves taking a primary role in managing special projects and partnering with operational partners to ensure regulatory, operational, and business risks requirements are met for the Funds Department. Adhering to Suntera's policies and procedures and observing the code of conduct.Your Duties Will IncludeProvide coverage and operational support to the Director and Associate Director, including client escalations, pipeline management, project delivery, and business reportingAct as primary liaison between Group client facing teams on outsourced functions and local business unit on quality assurance and operational outputReview and sign off on deliverables prepared by IOM team, ensuring adherence to internal policies, SLA, and regulatory standardsAct as escalation point to resolve client queries and collaborate with client facing teams to ensure timely resolution of client issuesAct as authorized signatoryAssist in the development and implementation of departmental procedures and control frameworksCoordinate with auditors, legal counsel, and regulatory bodies to ensure timely and accurate reportingAssist with business development to identify and pursue new client opportunitiesEnsure all P&Ps are up-to-date and liaise with Compliance on any updated or new P&Ps required to be developedAttend and participate in industry conferences and events that promote Suntera’s brand presenceChampion and participate in special projects as requiredWork closely with key stakeholders to prepare for and respond to issues (pre and post) audit, as well as for CIMA onsite inspectionsPerform other duties as assigned and incidental to the work described aboveAbout You.Skills and Requirements:Minimum 5 – 7 years’ experience in corporate trustee and fund administration environmentStrong knowledge of corporate governance frameworkProfessional accountancy qualification, ideally gained in financial services with 5 years' post qualified experienceExperience in preparing/reviewing audited financial statementsIn-depth knowledge of the Cayman Islands AML/CFT, Mutual Funds and Private Funds regulations is essentialExperience in reviewing fund documentsKnowledge of risk management and compliance within the financial industryWilling to embrace new technologies to identify new solutions and inefficient processesProven experience with team management i.e., team dynamics, engagement, moral, performance managementKnowledge in Custody would be an assetExcellent verbal, written, analytical skillsPersonal qualitiesIntegrityInspires client and team confidenceAdaptable and versatileAssertive and confidentDiscrete and tactfulEmotional resilience‘Can do’ attitudeRole modelAppropriate office conduct and attitude to workThis is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team and develop new ways of working, where you will have the opportunity to input into the evolution of our business processes on an ongoing basis.
