Job Description

. Basic Responsibilities:Oversee and manage manufacturing financial operations across three plants (Tanta, 10th of Ramadan, and Sadat), ensuring cost control, financial reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency.Provide strategic financial insights and process improvements to optimize manufacturing costs, inventory valuation, and operational performance.2. RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES:2.1 Main Tasks:Multi-Plant Cost Accounting & Financial Control:Develop and maintain accurate costing models for raw materials, production processes, and finished goods across all three plants.Analyze cost variances (actual vs. standard costs) and identify cost-saving opportunities.Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) inventory valuation and absorption costing.Inventory & Asset Valuation Across Plants:Ensure proper valuation and reconciliation of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods inventory at each plant.Conduct regular stock verifications and physical inventory checks across the plants.Implement and standardize inventory tracking and cost control measures.Financial Planning & Reporting:Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for each plant and consolidate company-wide performance.Generate budget forecasts, cost analyses, and manufacturing financial performance reports.Support CFO and senior management in data-driven decision-making.Compliance, Auditing & Internal Controls:Ensure adherence to IFRS standards, company financial policies, and local regulatory requirements across all locations.Support internal and external audits, providing necessary reports and reconciliations.Develop and enforce strong financial controls to minimize risks and errors.Process Standardization & Efficiency Improvements:Identify opportunities to reduce production costs, streamline accounting processes, and improve operational efficiency.Lead automation and digital transformation initiatives for manufacturing finance functions.Align financial procedures across Tanta, 10th of Ramadan, and Sadat Plants to ensure consistency.Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration:Supervise and mentor finance teams at each plant, ensuring performance excellence.Work closely with plant managers, procurement, and supply chain teams to ensure cost accuracy and financial reporting integrity.Provide training and guidance to finance staff on manufacturing cost principles and compliance.3. KPIs (Key Performance Indicators):Manufacturing Cost Variance: Maintain less than 2% deviation between actual and standard costs.Inventory Reconciliation Accuracy: Ensure 100% reconciliation of inventory records across all plants.Budget Adherence: Maintain 95%+ alignment between budgeted and actual production costs.Timely Financial Reporting: Submit 100% of financial reports within agreed deadlines.Audit Compliance Rate: Achieve 100% compliance in internal and external audits.4. DYNAMICS / LIAISE:4.1 Within the Organization:Finance & Treasury Teams: Align on cash flow planning, cost tracking, and budget control.Plant Managers & Operations Teams: Ensure financial accountability and cost transparency at each plant.Procurement & Supply Chain Teams: Monitor material cost fluctuations and ensure pricing accuracy.Senior Management & CFO: Provide financial insights to support company-wide strategic decision-making.4.2 With External Parties:Auditors & Regulatory Authorities: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.Vendors & Suppliers: Monitor cost trends and ensure accurate purchase pricing controls.5. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or ACCA preferred.Experience: Minimum 10+ years in manufacturing accounting, cost accounting, or financial management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.Technical Expertise:Extensive experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) for multi-plant financial reporting.Strong understanding of costing methods, variance analysis, and financial forecasting.Expertise in IFRS compliance for manufacturing operations.6. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITY:Advanced Knowledge of Manufacturing Cost Accounting & Financial AnalysisProficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP Accounting Systems & Financial ModelingStrong Leadership & Decision-Making SkillsStrategic Thinking & Ability to Drive Cost Optimization InitiativesExcellent Communication & Business Partnering Ability
