POSITION SUMMARY:Bridge33 Capital is a fast-growing, vertically integrated private equity firm focused on open-air strip retail.We are seeking an Accounting Operations Analyst to work closely with our Finance & Accounting team. Successful candidates will have deep experience in finance and accounting (CPA/ CMA preferred) and be responsible for assisting with various financial operations tasks related to financial statements, journal entry preparation/bookkeeping, and ad hoc internal financial reporting. This position will play a key role in ensuring effective communication between external accountants, auditors and internal teams.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Analyze financial data and provide support for accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including A/R analysis, collections, and vendor inquiriesUpdate ACH information and assist intercompany billings as neededPreparing balance sheet reconciliations and budget-to-actual explanations, creating invoices and posting charges to tenant ledgersProvide support for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close and reporting, including generating, modifying, preparing, and formatting monthly financial reports for Bridge33Maintain accurate and organized documentation in electronic filing systems, including maintaining the Accounting Dropbox folder hierarchy and integrityCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and address inquiries in a timely mannerWork on ad hoc projects and initiatives as needed, including projects where there may be ambiguity, or which do not have clearly established processes to referenceMaintain and update accounting and financial information in the prescribed standards and systemsFlexibility to support several different teammates within the Accounting and Finance Department and to prioritize and balance different responsibilitiesEffectively and clearly track and communicate the status of workflow tasks to supervisorsPrepare journal entries (tenant charges, receipts, payables, accounting-related journal entries or reclasses) within our accounting system, including providing adequate supporting documentationSet up financial and accounting informationMaintain accounting and financial files, including financial workbooks, property spreadsheets, and trackersWork with internal business units and other accountants to enter information into financial workbooksAssist with monthly reporting processCheck emails daily (manage personal inbox, accounting inbox)Perform other duties as assignedRequirementsBachelor's degree in finance or accountingCPA/ CMA is preferred3+ years of relevant experience in finance, financial operations, accounting, or related fieldStrong knowledge in BookkeepingStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyStrong Microsoft Excel skillsAccounting system experience preferredProficient in other Microsoft Office programs: Word and PowerPointExcellent English verbal and written communication skillsTeam player who is organized, proactive, and works well with othersComfortable working in a high-growth organization with a sense of urgencyWORKING REQUIREMENTS:Fully remoteFluent in EnglishWill work 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM US Pacific Time (PST)
