We are currently seeking to add strength to our team as a: Accounting Supervisor-AP/AR The Accounting Supervisor-AP/AR leads by example with professional communication that is positive, approachable, and honest.  The position demands a commitment to teamwork, demonstrates autonomy through constructive leadership and the ability to communicate matters of importance as they arise in a mature and productive manner. The incumbent must be highly organized, detail-oriented, a self-starter who is capable of juggling multiple projects with accuracy and within time constraints. The Accounting Supervisor-AP/AR will possess a passion of learning, growing, excelling in the role and is willing to meet challenges consistent with the company's growth and goals.  Responsibilities include but not limited to: Responsibility for the timely and accurate execution of the customer payable / receivable cycle.Monitor cash and bank balances on a daily basisMaintains regular contact with other departments to obtain and convey information and/or correct transactionsAssist Client Accounting with monthly and annual reportingAssist in providing specific financial reports to department managers that are consistent, accurate, secure, and contains reliable data that can be produced on demand when requiredSupervise disbursements of cheques and online paymentsEnsure compliance with local, provincial, and federal reporting requirementsAttending Condominium Board meetings with managers as required by working closely with our operations team.Oversee Accounts Payable and Receivables clerk and any future accounting staff *Other duties as assigned Qualifications: Preferred candidate would have Four year undergraduate degree in accounting, requiredMinimum 5 years of progressive work experience, requiredAttention to detail and keen ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing, entering and record keeping of informationAbility to successfully manage multiple tasks and priorities while using a well-developed problem-solving ability to resolve issues as they ariseStrong computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, Outlook and Yardi.Ability to quickly adapt to and learn internal processes and new software programsIf you think you meet the above criteria, we look forward to receiving your cover letter and resume to determine if an interview is your next step. only qualified candidates will be considered. Interviews are being conducted NOW! We thank all candidates however only those selected for an interview will be acknowledged.
