Accounts Payable Officer Woodham Petroleum Services is a family-owned business operating a regional network of fuel depots and outlets across NSW and QLD. We own and operate a substantial fleet of fuel tankers and are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our team in Sydney. This is a full-time, permanent position offering long-term stability and a supportive work environment.About the Role Reporting to the Finance Controller/Accountant, you will manage end-to-end accounts payable processes, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices, reconciliations, and payments to support our business operations.Key Responsibilities Process and reconcile supplier invoices and paymentsMaintain accurate supplier records and ensure compliance with company policyReconcile bank statements, remittances, and unmatched paymentsPrepare payment runs and upload batches to online bankingConduct supplier statement reconciliations and resolve discrepanciesAssist with credit card reconciliations and general finance administrationPrepare routine financial reports including aged creditor reportsOther ad hoc duties as requiredAbout You 3–4 years’ experience in Accounts Payable or a similar finance roleStrong understanding of inventory accounting, purchase order procedures, and account reconciliations.High attention to detail with excellent organisational skillsProficient in accounting software and Microsoft OfficeStrong communication and problem-solving abilitiesWhat We Offer Competitive salary with weekly pay cycleFour weeks annual leaveSupportive, family-oriented team cultureLong-term, stable employment with a well-established businessAs a family-owned company, we take pride in our people, value long-term relationships, and are dedicated to providing a safe and supportive workplace.
