The Accounts Receivable Accountant will be based in San José, Costa Rica and report to the Treasury & Accounts Receivable Manager.The Opportunity:The Accounts Receivable Accountant will execute AR operational activities for the Americas Shared Service Center (SSC) in San José, Costa Rica. Responsibilities Include:Execute the day-to-day AR operational activities for the Americas SSCCoordinate and perform complete, stringent, and timely financial tasksFinancial tasks include Reconciliation of bank accounts, Posting and reconciling of AR transactions, Cash application, and Clearing of AR and bank suspense accountsOther financial tasks involve Creation of Customer Manual Invoice, Manual corrections, Customer Credit Analysis, and Dispute ManagementExecute activities according to the agreed service level and in compliance with the SOPsPropose process and system improvements to contribute continuously to the improvement of the SSC's performanceHandle incoming calls and emails in a timely manner and display high integrity on the jobActively participate in team events, foster a team environment, and perform various flexible assignments as business needs warrantWho You Are:You hold a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related areaYou have 3+ years of finance and accounting experienceYou possess a solid understanding of accounting processesYou have knowledge of applications in a computerized environment, including spreadsheets and databases (e.g., Excel, Power Point, Word, G-Suite, etc.)Knowledge of Finance Shared Services and related technology systems (e.g., SAP, Blackline, Snow, etc.) is desiredYou have a strong ability to prioritize and organize work effectively and adhere to tight deadlinesYou possess effective written and verbal communication skills with a focus on customer serviceFluency in Portuguese, English, and Spanish is requiredRelocation benefits are not available for this postingWho we areA healthier future drives us to innovate.
