Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager BP&A, OPEX!In this role, we are looking for a skilled and motivated professional to join our OPEX (operational expenditure) team that will support Finance Business Partners and BP&A GBS leadership with planning, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.ResponsibilitiesDeliver agreed service levels to GBSF customers.Partner with global end-to-end process owners within GBS/GBSF/BU Finance to drive continuous enterprise-wide improvements and implement best practices.Manage the end-to-end GBS Operating Expense Management process.Lead planning, forecasting, and budgeting efforts for assigned business units/functions (Headcount and/or Non-Labor).Serve as a key liaison between the Center of Excellence (COE) and functional finance partners.Create cross-functional collaboration with other COEs to optimize and standardize expense management processes.Develop and enforce governance frameworks for expense planning, forecasting, and reporting.Maintain financial planning models, develop forecasts and trends, and support performance management analysis and commentary.Utilize standardized global tools to run standard reports and develop ad-hoc reports based on budgeting, planning, and operational data.Oversee preparation of ad-hoc analyses for BP&A Business Partners and Corporate BP&A as needed.Approve monthly journal entries for the month-end close process, including intercompany charge-outs to other regions.Analyze actual performance against plans to provide insights and commentary for management decision-making.Promote and share best practices across the organization.Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence, with a strong emphasis on capability building.Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of the team by setting clear goals, monitoring performance, and actively coaching team members to reach their full potential. Champion a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous excellence, empowering individuals to lead, innovate, and grow.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business required (relevant experience may substitute).Previous experience, with a strong focus on planning, budgeting, financial analysis, month-end close, and reporting. Accounting background is a plus.Demonstrated leadership experience, including team supervision, coaching, and performance management.Advanced English level (C1).Proven experience in building or leading a COE ideally in a transformation environment.Professional experience in a large, global, multi-segment organization, including month-end close activities such as journal entries and intercompany charges.Strong analytical skills with the ability to go beyond the numbers, identify root causes of variances, and assess broader business implications to drive performance and process improvements.Proficient in centralized systems such as SAP, Workday (HR), BPC, and Power BI.Proven ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.Skilled in interpreting complex financial data and delivering actionable insights.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Preferred Qualifications/ SkillsProfessional certification such as CPA or equivalent is highly desirable.Why join Genpact?
