This is a fantastic opportunity to work within an ASX listed company that has been constantly evolving and going from strength to strength for over 50 years.THE ROLEReporting to the Accounts Receivable Team Leader, the purpose of this role is to support the Accounts Receivable processes and systems by ensuring payments are received in a timely manner, accurately recorded and discrepancies resolved. Previous experience within a high-volume retail environment would be highly regarded.Key Responsibilities IncludeEnd to End ownership of debtor’s ledgerCash Receipting and Allocation of paymentsReconciliation of customer accountsLiaising with internal and external customers with regards to account queriesCreation of new Debtor Master FilesProcessing of miscellaneous invoices, credit notes and journalsAbout YouTo be successful, you will have:Previous experience in a similar role (preferred)Previous experience in Great Plains or Similar ERP systems will be highly regardedIntermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel e.g. Vlookup and Pivot TablesStrong numerical skillsHighly organised, good time management and prioritisation skillsStrong attention to detail and a high level of accuracyEffective communication skills, both written and verbalProven skills using your initiative and being proactiveWell-rounded skills working effectively within a team, whilst being able to work independently when requiredAbout Beacon LightingOur story began in Melbourne in 1967 with a single store and the drive to brighten up people's lives.
