Reporting to our Global Finance Manager, you’ll sit at the centre of our day-to-day ANZ financial operations — month end close, payroll, reporting, compliance, and continuous improvement.This role is hands-on, fast-moving, and suits someone who likes clarity, order, and tightening processes in a scaling SaaS business. You’ll work closely with our VP Finance, Finance Manager, and cross-functional leaders across Sales, People, and Customer.What You'll DoFinancial OperationsPrepare accurate invoices aligned to contract terms, apply correct tax treatment, and manage AR collections.Apply IFRS 15 revenue recognition and maintain deferred revenue schedules.Review and process expense claims, manage creditor runs, and maintain strong internal controls.Maintain accurate legal-entity financial records across AU, NZ, and US entities.Month End & Year EndDeliver the full month end process: accruals, journals, balance sheet reconciliations, supporting schedules.Complete bank and AP reconciliations and resolve discrepancies quickly.Ensure all balances are accurate, supportable, and compliant with AASB/IFRS.Prepare financial statements and assist with annual reporting requirements.Payroll & ComplianceOwn end-to-end monthly payroll for the VendorPanel Group.Calculate and process commissions in partnership with Sales leadership.Ensure compliance with PAYG, Superannuation, payroll tax, and FBT.Stay on top of payroll legislation changes and adjust processes accordingly.Finance Operations DeliveryAdminister finance tools such as Xero, AirWallex, Navan, and Fathom.Identify and drive process improvements to speed up month end and improve data quality.Partner with internal teams to ensure smooth finance operations and clear expectations.Regulatory & StatutorySupport preparation of group tax consolidations, R&D calculations, ITRs, FBT, and statutory accounts.Assist with external audit requirements and provide accurate supporting documentation.Ad Hoc & Improvement ProjectsSupport leaders with financial insights to help them manage budgets and results.Contribute to process design, automation, and tools integration.Jump into project work as needed across the Finance function.About YouCA/CPA qualified.3+ years experience in financial accounting, ideally in SaaS or tech.Strong month end, reporting, reconciliation, and compliance capability.Proven experience owning end-to-end payroll, including all compliance requirements.Comfortable working across multiple entities and intercompany transactions.Advanced Xero experience (non-negotiable).Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills; BI or analytics exposure is a plus.High attention to detail, organised, and consistent under pressure.Pragmatic, solutions-focused, and able to work independently in a remote-friendly team.Clear communicator who can partner confidently with non-finance stakeholders.Bonus but not essentialExperience with AirWallex, Navan, and Fathom.Exposure to SaaS metrics, subscription billing, or revenue recognition tooling.Experience in a PE-backed environment or in a business undergoing integration.A note to our applicantsWe Welcome Applications From People Of All Backgrounds And Encourage Candidates From Marginalized Communities To Apply.
