OverviewKey Responsibilities (including but not limited to):Supporting the pricing and underwriting teams with individual risk pricing and underwriting of reinsurance contractsContinually refining pricing tools and processesSupporting the reserving team with the reserving process, including data preparation, reserve analysis and projections, benchmarking, and preparation of results for presentation at the Reserving CommitteeSupporting the capital team with Igloo modelling, including streamlining data flows, investigating data discrepancies, and interpreting resultsQualifications RequiredBachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or similarProgressing towards qualification with a globally recognized actuarial organization such as the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries or Casualty Actuarial SocietyExperience Required2+ years of actuarial experience, ideally focused on reinsuranceFamiliarity with Python, SQL and other programming languages, including those used in actuarial softwareTeam oriented, collaborative approach to problem solvingEnthusiasm to develop knowledge and expertise in a wide range of fields
