OverviewKey Duties (Including but not limited to):Maintain and enhance the enterprise risk framework, ensuring risks are effectively identified, assessed, monitored and reportedMonitor changes in the regulatory landscape and assess their impact on the Company’s risk management frameworkPartner with business units to ensure adequate controls are embedded in processes, operating effectively, and deficiencies are remediatedMonitor key risk indicators (KRIs) to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and escalate issues as necessaryQualifications RequiredBachelor’s degree in finance, risk management, or a related disciplinePossession of, or active pursuit of an internationally recognised qualification [e.g., Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant CPA, Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA)]Experience RequiredMinimum of seven 7-10 years of experience in risk management preferably in the (re)insurance sector or financial services sector, show demonstrated leadership in driving risk initiatives across business units in (re)insurance or financial servicesExperience in solvency and capital management concepts, including familiarity with the Commercial Insurer’s Solvency Self-Assessment (CISSA), Board and committee reporting, and regulatory reporting requirementsIn-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements for Class 4 reinsurers in Bermuda, including the Insurance Act 1978, the Insurance Code of Conduct, and Solvency II equivalence standards
