Job Description

The Procurement Assistant is responsible to provide administrative support to the Purchasing Department in ensuring a consistent supply of products at the rightquality, prices, etc. He/she will support the trade purchasing process, maintain suppliers relationships, product and claim process and documentation.Duties And ResponsibilitiesPerforming research to identify potential suppliers and evaluating their qualificationsMaintains contact with vendors regarding orders and merchandise, new products, market conditions, and trendsPreparing purchase orders and contracts for approval by supervisors or headCoordinating with other departments within a company for the purchase of specialized materials or equipmentMaintain comprehensive procurement files, including vendors, proposals, evaluations, official contracts and correspondence on all procurements, following policies and local law.Evaluate suppliers based on established criterias such as quality, reliability and timeliness of delivery, pricingReviews and analyzes price and item proposals for comparisonSupport Merch and finance departments to process payment to vendors.Perform other task that may be assigned from time to timeQualificationsPreferably with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies/Management/Administration/Commerce or other related coursesPreferably with experience in Procurement process or in related field.With strong communication skillsHas excellent organizational and administrative skillsDetail-oriented and structuredAble to multi-task and work well under pressureKnowledgeable in Microsoft Office Applications (excel, word, etc.)Willing to report in Makati OfficeJob Type: Full-timeWork Location: In perso
