The amazing team here will support you from the very first day at work, and will guide you in acquiring new skills and knowledge so you can be successful and confident in your new role.You’ll be part of a team that relies on each individual to play their part, to the best of their ability, but also part of a team environment, where everyone will always work together to make sure that we win as a team and most importantly support each other, ensuring that the Gas Certification Company continues to be a great place to work.As our Office Junior Apprentice, you will join us at our amazing training and assessment centre at Blantyre Industrial Estate, Glasgow.Our Office location has great transportation links, and is just a 5 minute walk from a regular bus route.Your RoleYou will be based within our friendly office team and provide much needed support to the department, managing day to day administration duties and projects if required.With Guidance From Our Supportive Team, You Will Support the admin functions of the team, learning from the ground up Handle day to day queries that come in via phone or into the teams shared email inbox Support in providing candidate quotations and course availability Support in booking candidates training and assessment sessions into the system Support in processing payments in the office Support in maintaining the Candidate Database and shared drive files Support in class room set up Support in preparing training packs and materials for candidatesYou will learn how to communicate in a busy office environment, how to manage your workload and customer service skills.You will learn about our products and services and how to use our internal IT systems and databases.About YouTo be considered for this role, you will need to be: Personable, presentable and articulate with an enthusiastic ‘can do’ attitude Be flexible with the willingness to do what’s required and support the team The ability to communicate to internal and external customers, both verbally and written High attention to detail knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and ability to learn new systems quickly A keen interest in pursuing a career in an office environment within an education learning facility.
