Job Description

Our Biopharmaceutical client is the world leader in delivering therapeutics that provide meaningful advances to patients who live with serious and life-threatening rare genetic diseases. They target diseases that lack effective therapies and affect relatively small numbers of patients, many of whom are children. These conditions are often inherited, difficult to diagnose, progressively debilitating and have few, if any, treatment options.Responsibilities includeScheduling meetings with participants and stakeholdersCoordinating travel and other administrative tasksCoordinating catering for on-site critical meetingsRaising purchase orders on AribaManage accrualsSystems supportGenerates monthly reports and metricsPlanning and execution of site eventsSupports Site communicationPlanning and organizing team building/site activitiesMaintaining distribution listsManaging training curricula and administrationOnboarding support for new hiresResponsible for content and maintenance of the Sharepoint siteAct as the site “go-to-person” for general operational or administrative inquiriesSite SME on MS teamsAd Hoc projectsSkills & Qualifications:Commitment to excellence - perform duties at the highest level possible on a consistent basis; Strong business sense and can decipher priorities and make sound judgment calls when neededExcellent communicator (verbal and written) - able to interact with people of all levels in a confident, professional mannerQuick learner and self-starter - able to work independently, with a sense of urgencyResponsiveness to deadlines, strong attention to detail, and able to prioritize multiple tasksIndependent judgment and discretion with sensitive/confidential and proprietary informationA high level of professionalism with strong influencing skills and ability to anticipate situations or issuesA can-do attitudeRequirements:Minimum of 5 – 10 years of administrative experience, including experience supporting global teamsExcellent computer skills with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint)Experience with coordinating complex travel; Working knowledge of Concur Expense managementThis role is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days onsite in the London office.Note: This description is not intended to be all-inclusive, or a limitation of the duties of the position.
