The perfect candidate will have a strong background and proven experience in the influencer marketing and/ or broader marketing industry, specifically working in a high-paced agency environment. You will have experience leading teams and experience in driving high performance teams to challenge themselves and push beyond the status quo. As Agency Director you’ll be the driving force behind Ivy Talent Co, as we continue to grow our team and talent roster. You’ll lead strategic expansion – onboarding new, aligned talent, championing existing talent beyond social and digital, and forging meaningful partnerships with media, brands and platforms.This role sits on the senior leadership team, reporting directly to our Managing Director and working closely with our Head of Talent to power growth across the business – commercially, creatively and culturally.Other responsibilities have been outlined below. Key responsibilities Strategic and Commercial LeadershipWork closely with Ivy Talent Founder to drive the agency’s growth strategy Develop and deliver Ivy Talent Co’s talent acquisition and expansion strategyLead strategic brand/talent partnerships that elevate our talent beyond social platformsOversee and grow financial performance across the agency. Industry Relationships and RepresentationRepresent Ivy Talent Co at events, speaking opportunities, talent lunches, and industry meetingsBuild and nurture relationships with agencies, platforms, producers, publishers and media.Talent Management and GrowthOwn the onboarding process for select talent Lead retention strategies for top-tier talent Uncover new opportunities for talent to grow their brand and build relationships in these industries Identify and nurture new voices that align with Ivy Talent Co’s roster.Team Leadership and CultureLead the Melbourne operations of Ivy Talent Co and Free Folk Agency, representing the SLT on-the-groundAct as the consistent voice of leadership and mentorship for the teamBuild a high performance, positive environment that thrives on collaborationBe a values driven leader who sets the tone and lifts others as you climb.New BusinessAutonomously lead new business opportunities and pitch meetingsDevelop future-forward, tailored growth strategies for existing and prospective talentStay one step ahead of the industry – always. To be successful in this role, you will possess the below skills and experience:7+ years in a senior growth, partnerships, marketing, media, or talent-facing roleDeep understanding of the influencer, publishing and social and traditional media landscapes across AU/NZStrong commercial acumen and understanding the economics of this industryExperience working with talent and advocating for them Proven leadership experience, with a people-first mindsetA willingness to network regularly - you know the right rooms to be in and aren’t afraid to enter themStrategic thinker who thrives in fast-paced environments and gets things done. Why join the Ivy Talent Co team?🚀 Work alongside our Founder as we grow, giving you exposure to the BTS of running an agency📍Hybrid flexibility💥 Work with an exciting roster of talent that are driving the industry forward 🤝 Be a part of a supportive, collaborative, values-led culture Next stepsIf this sounds like you, send us your resume, along with a short video telling us why you’re the right fit for this role and our team.📩 Apply now – lauren.faulkner@ivytalentco.com.au.
