Zoomlion is currently ranked 4th globally in its industry.Zoomlion South Africa is looking for an industry experienced Agriculture Country Manager to develop and manage marketing programs in specific channels, support business objectives, lead acquisition, foster customer retention, execute business development, provide sales support, and advance brand building.Job description:Responsible for achieving national annual/quarterly/monthly sales and collection targetsResponsible for assisting in formulating relevant plans for products, channels, services, teams, etc.Responsible for the development, introduction, and management of channels.Responsible for channel terminal construction, store sales, promotion and other tasks.Responsible for building and managing the agricultural machinery marketing team within the region, while effectively coordinating with subordinate departments and product lines.Responsible for the development of government projects and key clients nationwide, as well as follow-up on business opportunities.Responsible for public relations and liaison work related to national subsidy policies, and collaborating with credit and finance managers to develop financial channels.Planning, directing, implementing, sales, profit, and strategic objectives.Managing and directing the agriculture sales team.Formulating business development strategies to ensure long-term successSetting standards and objectives for staff and different departments.Optimizing and overseeing operations to ensure efficiency.Lead a team of consultants towards effective collaboration and attainment of goals.Undertake sound financial management to ensure the company is profitable and stays within budget.Ensure compliance with the company’s policies and operational guidelines.Deal with problems by providing creative and practical solutions.Evaluate performance using key metrics and address issues to improve it.Report to senior executives on progress and management issues.Requirements and skills:Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agricultural Economics, Crop Science, Soil Science or related field (Master’s is an advantage).Minimum 3 years’ experience as an area manager, sales manager, assistant manager, or similar managerial role will be an advantage.Knowledge of sustainable farming practices and modern agricultural technologies.Knowledge of performance evaluation metrics and principles.Sound understanding of operations and standards for success.Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.A commitment to excellent customer service.Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.Strong business acumen with a strategic orientation.Excellent problem-solving abilities.Excellent abilities in financial and operations planning.Computer literate.Remuneration:Market related basic salary.Plus fuel allowance.Plus laptop allowance.Plus cellphone allowance.Plus quarterly performance incentives.
