About The BusinessM&A Transaction Services assist financial and corporate investors in assessing investment opportunities and providing professional advisory services to support them in making effective and timely business and investment decisions concerning their outbound, inbound or domestic M&A transactions.Work you'll doHelp team determine attractiveness/readiness of a proposed deal by identifying pre-deal transaction benefits/risks Drive sound financial decision making throughout the transaction through diligence efforts Help client identify and address integration or separation issues to optimize the transition once the deal is securedSelect appropriate methods for collecting and analyzing large and complex data sets to extract insights and support solutions Produce a high quality work product and collaborate with others across phases of the M&A transaction lifecycle to deliver a superior client experience Analyze financial and accounting information when evaluating transactions Manage own work in an ethical manner with a continuous attention to quality and risk rules, and confidentiality Build an understanding of how stages of the M&A lifecycle operate to enhance delivery in own phase of expertiseDuring your tenure with us, you will demonstrate and develop your leadership and professional capabilities in the following areas: Inspiring, Creating purpose, Driving agility, Building diverse capability, Influencing, Collaborating, Delivering value, Building the business, Analytical acumen, Effective communication, Engagement management/delivery excellence, Managing change, Managing quality & risk, Sales excellence, Strategic thinking and problem solving, and Tech savviness.We are looking for someone withTo be considered for this position, you must demonstrate skills and experience in the following areas:Bachelor or above degree holder in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or MBA Professional qualifications in CICPA, HKICPA or equivalentMinimum two years of relevant work experience in transaction services and/or audit Experience in dealing with and managing international and domestic clients, including Mainland Chinese clientsFamiliar with potential risk management issuesExcellent financial and business analytical skills Ability to analyze and synthesize target company data to identify historical and projected financial and operating trends, quality of earnings and working capital considerations, and potential liabilities and risks which impact valuation and negotiation of the target companyPossess good business sense and awareness of commercial and economic issuesExposure to IPO and Special Audit would be an advantageKnowledge in financial modelling skills is an advantageSelf-motivated, good team player with ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure Willingness to take on challenges and responsibilitiesProficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and WordExcellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and Chinese (Mandarin/ Cantonese) Excellent written skills in English and Chinese Willingness to travel (occasionally with short notice)Shape your future through impact that mattersFor more than 100 years of history, Deloitte witnessed also had the honor to be part of the economic boom in China by providing industry-leading audit & assurance, consulting, risk advisory, financial advisory, tax & business advisory services to nearly 90% of the Fortune Global 500 Chinese companies and thousands of private companies.
