Job Description

Position SummaryPerform materials analysis using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Dual Beam Focused Ion Beam (FIB) systems for TEM lamella preparation. The candidate will be responsible for data acquisition, analysis, reporting, and troubleshooting of processes and equipment.Essential Job Funnctions • Perform SEM measurements of customer-submitted samples. • Prepare TEM lamellae using Dual Beam FIB systems. • Analyze and interpret results to prepare technical reports for customers. • Conduct troubleshooting of equipment and processes as needed. • Maintain accurate documentation and follow Good Documentation Practices. • Ensure all safety and export control requirements are met. • Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. • Follow quality system procedures and recommend process improvements when appropriate. • Other duties as assigned.Minimum Job RequirementsEducation and Experience: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Materials Science, Materials Engineering, or related field. • 3–5 years of experience in electron microscopy (SEM, FIB, or TEM sample preparation).Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Strong expertise in SEM/FIB operation and TEM sample preparation techniques. • Effective communication and presentation skills for both internal teams and external customers. • Proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint for documentation and reporting. • Ability to travel internationally, including to the United States. • English communication ability for professional collaboration.Preferred Qualifications • Hands-on experience operating and analyzing samples using SEM, FIB, and TEM • Strong background and understanding in semiconductor processes or materials analysis • Willingness for long-term overseas assignments or relocation to the United States • Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written) • Ability to work weekends or night shifts when requiredAdditional Information • Resume Format: English Resume • Working Location: Yongin, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea, or nearby area • Work Schedule: 4 days per week, Morning Shift: 05:00 AM - 3:30 PM / Swing Shift: 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM
