Join us in building the future of smart, sustainable living.Role: Application Engineer (Entry Level – Emirati Talent)As an Application Engineer, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between product development, sales, and customer support. You will apply your technical HVAC knowledge to support the design, selection, and implementation of efficient HVAC systems that meet client needs and project specifications.This role is exclusively for Emirati nationals, as part of Carrier’s commitment to developing and empowering UAE talent.Role ResponsibilitiesTechnical Application & System DesignSelect and configure DX cooling systems based on cooling loads, application types, and energy efficiency requirements.Demonstrate strong understanding of VRF system design, including heat recovery, simultaneous heating/cooling, and indoor/outdoor unit compatibility.Apply expertise in FAHU system design, ensuring proper integration with treated fresh air systems and humidity control.Ensure that all proposed solutions comply with industry standards (ASHRAE, ISO, and local regulations).Quotation & DocumentationGenerate SAP quotations aligned with project specifications.Prepare technical submittals with clear compliance statements.Analyze technical submittals, product data sheets, and performance curves to confirm equipment suitability.Customer & Sales SupportReceive and manage inquiries from Sales Engineers or the Sales Manager via phone, email, or in person.Provide technical clarifications and assistance to Sales Engineers, consultants, and customers.Engage directly with customers to resolve technical issues and optimize system performance.Support the sales team in interpreting client needs and recommending optimal HVAC solutions.Continuous ImprovementAssist in updating the latest Carrier software, catalogs, and product information.Stay current with emerging HVAC technologies and energy efficiency standards.QualificationsMinimum RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.Experience1–3 years of relevant experience in HVAC applications or technical support (fresh graduates with strong HVAC knowledge are encouraged to apply).Skills & KnowledgeStrong understanding of HVAC systems and thermodynamics.Excellent communication and technical writing skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office and HVAC design tools.Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive problem solver.Key CompetenciesTechnical expertise and analytical thinkingCustomer-focused approachStrong collaboration and teamwork skillsAdaptability and eagerness to learnPrecision and attention to detailWhat We OfferCompetitive compensation and performance-based incentivesInclusive, multicultural work environmentCareer growth and professional development opportunitiesAccess to training, mentorship, and global expertiseYour Journey with CarrierIf Selected, Your Recruitment Journey Will IncludeInitial conversation with our Talent Acquisition teamInterview with technical and business leadersFinal evaluation and offerOur Commitment to YouAt Carrier, we are committed to building a culture where our people can thrive and contribute meaningfully.
