Application Production Support

We’re looking for an Application Production Support Engineer to join a global team responsible for supporting and maintaining a world-class equities execution platform.This is a hybrid role based in Lisbon, with 2 days per week onsite, and requires residence in Portugal.🎯 What you will doSupport and monitor cash equities execution platforms to ensure stability, performance, and reliabilityBuild and improve monitoring systems to prevent and resolve incidents proactivelyDeploy production changes with precision to maintain service continuityCollaborate with trading desks, developers, and global stakeholders to drive continuous improvementPerform incident analysis, troubleshooting, and reporting to uphold high service levels🛠 Technical SkillsStrong Unix/Linux administration skillsGood understanding of network protocols (TCP, UDP)Basic scripting knowledge (Shell, Python, Perl, or similar)Basic SQL experienceExperience in application support and production monitoringFamiliarity with log management tools: Splunk, ELK, Graylog, LokiExperience with network monitoring tools such as CorvilExposure to databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, KDB/qKnowledge of messaging systems: Tibco, Solace, IBM MQ, LBM, KafkaExperience with observability platforms: ITRS Geneos, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana
