Operating globally, our 6000+ specialists provide a full spectrum of services, including business and tech advisory, enterprise solutions, CX, UX and Ul design, managed services, product development, and software development.This is the jobIn Bulgaria, Egypt, Ukraine, Poland within the lottery industry, we are actively seeking a professional to strengthen our team.This is youComputer Science Degree or equivalent (BSc or higher)3+ years of experience in technical IT or engineering roles.1+ year of experience in security-focused technical roles.Strong experience with technical security in AWS environments.Experience securing cloud and API-driven SaaS applications.Hands-on experience with SIEM and monitoring technologies (Splunk, Rapid7, ELK, QRadar, etc.).Good understanding of common security products and technologies (EDR, AV, SIEM, SOAR).Solid experience with Windows and Linux administration.Scripting proficiency (Python, Bash, PowerShell, AWS Lambda).Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to correlate data from multiple systems, logs, and alerts.Experience triaging and investigating information security events.Nice-to-have skills:Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Knowledge of modern application frameworks and architectures (e.g., microservices, containers)Familiarity with tools like OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, Snyk, or similarCertifications such as CEH, OSCP, or CSSLPUnderstanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation in security testing.This is your roleConduct security assessments, code reviews, and penetration tests for web and mobile applications.Implement and maintain secure development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to design and apply security controls across the software delivery pipeline.Identify, analyze, and mitigate application vulnerabilities, ensuring compliance with internal and external security standards.Develop and maintain security documentation, guidelines, and best practices.Support incident response activities related to application-level security breaches.Continuously monitor new threats and vulnerabilities to ensure system resilience and improvement.What awaits you at Avenga?Through our values, Better Minds, Bolder Ideas and Bigger Hearts, we strive to provide you with the tools, the autonomy, the trust, and assistance you need to excel.
