Job Description

The Area Manager is responsible for supervising and managing the operations of multiple bakery/pastry branches within an assigned area. This role ensures that each branch operates efficiently, meets sales goals, delivers excellent customer service, and follows company standards. The Area Manager will provide leadership, coaching, and operational support to Branch Managers and store teams while coordinating with different departments to drive store performance and customer satisfaction.Oversee the daily operations of assigned branches to ensure consistent product quality, service excellence, and operational efficiency.Conduct regular store visits and fieldwork to inspect store conditions, evaluate staff performance, and ensure adherence to company SOPs.Support Branch Managers in managing inventory, controlling wastage, ensuring proper scheduling, and maintaining store cleanliness.Monitor sales performance, analyze branch KPIs, and implement action plans to achieve or exceed targets.Lead and coach Branch Managers and staff to strengthen performance, productivity, and customer satisfaction.Ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and DOLE regulations.Coordinate with the Production, Supply Chain, and Training teams to ensure timely deliveries, updated recipes, and training needs are addressed.Handle customer concerns escalated from branches and ensure timely resolution.Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and manpower planning for branches in the assigned area.Oversee implementation of marketing promotions, seasonal products, and new initiatives.Support new store openings, renovations, and operational improvements.Prepare weekly and monthly operations reports for management, including challenges, opportunities, and recommendations.QualificationsBachelors degree in business administration, Hospitality Management, Operations Management, or any related field.Minimum of 35 years of experience in branch/store supervision, multi-unit management, or operations in the F&B, caf, bakery, or retail industry.Strong leadership and coaching skills with experience managing multiple store teams.Solid understanding of store operations, inventory management, food safety, and customer service.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to create and implement action plans.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.Willing to travel frequently and conduct daily branch visits within the assigned area.Proficient in MS Office, Google Workspace, POS systems, and report preparation.Highly organized, assertive, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
