The Prime Brokerage is an important part of the firm’s Institutional Equity Division. PB partners with clients such as hedge funds to support their launches, growth throughout the lifecycle and day-to-day operations.Primary ResponsibilitiesThe role of the Asia Capital introductions team is to help connect our clients such as hedge fund managers with the appropriate allocators in their fund raising efforts. We provide bespoke capital consultancy to our new launches as well as established managers when it comes to thinking about establishing a business, launching a new products, reviewing marketing presentations, thinking about fund terms, and overall investor flows and trends. We execute on customized matching and introductions via bespoke introductions, organizing roadshows, and hosting thematic and regional conferences. We also cover both Asia and global allocators who are interested in learning more and/ or investing in Asia fund managers. We work closely with our PB colleagues within PB Sales, Consulting, and Client Coverage as well as the rest of the Institutional Equity Division floor.QualificationsPrior experience in Capital Introduction, Prime Brokerage, Institutional Sales, Investor Relations, or a related roleDemonstrated ability to build trusted, long‑term client relationshipsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsHigh level of professionalism, judgment, and discretionStrong work ethic and collaborative mindset5+ years of experienceWhat You Can Expect From Morgan StanleyAt Morgan Stanley, we raise, manage and allocate capital for our clients – helping them reach their goals.
