Job title - Assistant Housekeeping Manager – HospitalityPosition Summary: The Assistant Housekeeping Manager supports the Housekeeping Executive in overseeing all housekeeping operations to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction within the property. This role ensures smooth day-to-day operations, supervises staff, and upholds company and brand standards.Key Responsibilities:• Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff, including room attendants, public area cleaners, and laundry staff.• Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.• Assist in planning and scheduling staff shifts according to occupancy and operational needs.• Ensure all cleaning materials and guest supplies are adequately stocked.• Train and motivate housekeeping team members to maintain efficiency and service quality.• Handle guest complaints or special requests promptly and professionally.• Coordinate with the Front Office, Maintenance, and Laundry departments to ensure smooth operations.• Monitor and control housekeeping expenses and manage inventory.• Enforce safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.• Prepare housekeeping reports and maintain proper records of rooms cleaned, lost & found, and maintenance issues.Requirements:• Minimum Experience: 5 years of housekeeping experience in a Managerial position in the UAE hospitality industry. Experience only in 5-star hospitality.• Education: Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management or HospitalitySkills :o Strong leadership and team management skillso Excellent communication and interpersonal abilitieso Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safety regulations, and hygiene standardso Good computer skills (MS Office, PMS systems preferred)o Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
