Sydney Hospital is Australia’s first hospital, with origins dating back to the early establishment of Sydney.Our specialist services attract patients from all over NSW. Clinical services provided are a 24hr Emergency Department, and an outpatient departments (eyes, general and hands). Clinical wards include Eyes, Hands, ENT and General Medicine as well as the Peri-Operative Suite.It is located in the hub of the Central Business District, close to the cafe, restaurant and shopping precinct. You will always work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.You will be encouraged to further develop your practice with the professional development opportunities available.Selection CriteriaCertificate III in Health Services Assistance (HLT33115) or equivalent OR 2nd or 3rd Year Undergraduate Nursing Student.Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Effective time management skills.Computer skills including the ability to use a variety of office and health related software application.Demonstrated knowledge of Infection Prevention and Control standard precautions.Need more information?
