Assistant Manager

Roles & Responsibilities Independently manage demand planning and supply planning processes for assigned product portfolios. Analyse sales trends, forecasts, and inventory data to ensure timely replenishment and product availability. Collaborate with marketing and manufacturing teams to align production schedules with demand requirements. Conduct periodic demand-supply review meetings to identify gaps and corrective actions. Act as a key liaison between plants, marketing, procurement, and logistics to proactively resolve supply issues. Influence and negotiate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive consensus on plans and priorities. Escalate critical issues through a defined escalation matrix to ensure timely resolution. Review key performance indicators (KPIs) such as forecast accuracy, inventory turns, and service levels. Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and continuous improvement initiatives. Support implementation and enhancement of planning tools and digital systems. Generate and analyze periodic reports for management review. Utilize Excel and PowerPoint to present insights, trends, and action plans. Leverage SAP S/4HANA for planning, order management, and reporting activities. Strong understanding of Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Inventory Management processes. Technical Skills: Intermediate MS Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, dashboards, etc. MS PowerPoint – strong presentation and visualization skills SAP S/4HANA – hands-on experience in supply chain modules
