Position IdentificationPosition Title: Assistant Manager, (Zone Operation officer-Konabari)Division: Manned ServicesWork Location: GazipurRelationships of the Position Reporting Line Manager: Senior Vice President, Gazipur BranchJob Summary (Objective)The position is responsible to provide guarding service that ensures safety and security of clients, their property and goods as well as the security personnel on the guarding location.Duties And ResponsibilitiesResponsible for management of zones under the branch through Operation Officer and PE/AOs/DAOs/AAOs, 24 x 7.Conducting Security Personnel deployment; Zone In-charge is involved in this process from carrying out surveys, preparing reports, coordinating with S&M and finally deploying SPs.Identify significant security risks; Design and implement strategies and programs to prevent and reduce loss of the client’s assets. Ensure that ‘Post Orders’ are clearly written specific for the post requirements and that guard on the post is aware of their post duties.Send Incident report to Operation Manager/ Line Manager on occurrence of any serious incident within 24 hours of the zone area.Set out procedures for dealing with client complains during off-duty hours OR emergency at client location. Facilitate admin support and Clothing Equipment / material support/ PPE required for guarding operations.Meet the client regularly to maintain liaison, improve relations, mitigate crises and above all meet the client's requirements. After a complaint is resolved, always check back from the client whether the issue is resolved to client’s satisfaction.In collaboration with the Branch Head, develop and maintain relationships with emergency responders but are not limited to, country law enforcement, fire specialists, and medical first care providers.The zone manager will maintain under mentioned registers at branch level:Leave Register. Missing & Rejoin Register.Manpower State Register.Clothing and Equipment Register.ID deposit and issue Register.Ensure post items are in place and maintained.Monitor average work hours of all guards to see that OT is evenly distributed and strictly ensure that no corrupt practices take root in allocating OT or leave.Responsible for Security Personnel Barrack Management.Ensure compliance with the G4S Ethics Code at the branch level.Maintain client payment records for the purpose of identifying defaulting clients whose services may be discontinued if bills become overdue by 60 days.Guards skills enhancement based on emerging client expectations.Monitor the state of turnover rate, Overtime, vacant hour etc.Conduct motivation talks as deemed appropriate to keep the guards focused on their job. Leave plan to endeavor that guard can go on leave during his/her emergency. Eliminate false billing / false duty roster.Any other jobs as assigned by Line Manager time to time. Educational Qualification & Competencies RequiredMinimum Graduate in any disciplineGood computer Skills in MS Office package including report writingAbility to manage large number of personnel and security operational activitiesGood Communication in both verbal, written and negotiation skillAbility to work under pressure and be a good team playerMust knowledge on motorcycle riding skillAge limit: 35 years
