Job DescriptionAssistant Platform OwnerASSISTANT PLATFORM OWNER Responsible for the lifecycle of the assigned platform(s)Research for the technologies, tools and technical solutions that are most suited for the development and improvement of our platform applicationsParticipate and apply best practices on the research, development, testing, deployment and monitoring phases of the lifecycle of the applications Responsible for the orderly operation of the assigned platforms, their related initiatives and projects, and for communications between the internal teams and the platform vendors Responsible for assigned platform tasks:Compiling operations SLAs and performance KPlsPerforming capacity planning when neededEnsuring that high availability is achieved and maintained for the related platformsCompiling the necessary scenarios and performing the related unit tests in order to ensure that all application changes work as intended and do not introduce regressionsManaging platform related deploymentsTroubleshooting applications and infrastructure resources and devising the necessary fixes along with the application vendorsManaging the daily operations of the platformsProviding and enriching platform technical documentationActing as an intermediate between technology partners and vendors Horizontal peersCooperates with other colleagues on issues and processes that require cross-functional collaboration ProjectsParticipates in projects as a team member or leads projects as an accountable owner, contributing time, skills and knowledge
