Position Overview:The Information Systems Department invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor to teach and contribute to the MS Business Analytics (MSBA) program. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Information Systems and Business Analytics, a passion for teaching, and an active research agenda aligned with data-driven business innovation.Key Responsibilities:Teach postgraduate courses such as Management Information Systems, Business Analytics Tools, Database Management, and Data Visualization.Engage students through applied learning, case studies, and hands-on projects.Supervise MSBA student research and thesis.Conduct and publish high-quality research in relevant areas.Contribute to curriculum design, departmental initiatives, and academic service activities.Qualifications:PhD in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field (ABD candidates nearing completion may also be considered).Demonstrated teaching excellence and a record (or strong potential) for research publication.Familiarity with tools and technologies such as SQL, Power BI, Python/R, or ERP systems is desirable.Industry or consulting experience in analytics or information systems will be an advantage.What We Offer:A dynamic academic environment focused on innovation and research.Opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration within the MSBA and related programs.Competitive compensation and professional development support.Salary Range : Local PhDs (PKR 180-200k PM) Foreign PhDs (PKR 200 - 250)
