About the Role We are seeking a driven and experienced AVP, Corporate Communications specialist to join our fast-growing Brand and Communications team in Singapore, with a proven track record in corporate and transactional communications, issues and crisis management. Reporting to the Head of Brand and Communications, the successful candidate will play a role in leading and shaping an effective communications strategy for Saison International across its global markets especially in India, Indonesia, Mexico and Brazil.In this role, you will get the opportunity to build the international reputation of the organization through strategic communications initiatives designed to reach our target audiences, partners and opinion leaders, highlight our unique corporate culture and deep commitment to impact. This role involves spearheading external and internal communications initiatives, driving the creation of our thought leadership platform, craft compelling content for our owned channels and managing media relations. Given our background as a tech-led financial solutions provider, we are seeking individuals who have a passion and authentic interest in finance and technology, an entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to build things from the ground-up, as well as the desire to deliver transformative impact to end-consumers and businesses.What You Will Do Communications StrategyLead and execute integrated communication plans, to promote company milestones, subsidiary/market-related announcements, C-suite profiling, and thought leadership. Media RelationsCultivate and maintain strong relationships with global media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers to drive positive coverage and manage crisis communications effectively.Advise and prepare company executives for media interactions and presentations. Interview and speaking opportunitiesCoordinate and facilitate interviews and develop briefing materials to prepare key spokespeople for cross-organizational communications, coaching executives on PR and external communications.Issues & Reputation ManagementLead the identification, monitoring, and assessment of emerging issues that may affect the organisation’s reputation, operations, or stakeholders.Act as a core member of the crisis response team, providing counsel on messaging, stakeholder engagement, and media.Corporate history developmentResearch, curate, and develop content that captures the organisation’s corporate history, heritage, and key milestones for use in publications, presentations, and stakeholder engagement. Events and ConferencesAssist in organizing and promoting company events, conferences and stakeholder outreach programmes. Agency ManagementDefine a clear scope and manage agencies and advisors, ensuring high-quality delivery outcomes across markets that aligns with corporate objectives and goals. Content DevelopmentCraft narratives, develop written materials, and content, including story pitches, messaging, blog posts, Q&As, presentations, and speeches. Stakeholder Management and CollaborationWork closely with cross-functional teams including executive leadership, risk, product development, and others to ensure alignment with business objectives. Budget ManagementManage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively to deliver high-quality results within established parameters. Metrics and AnalysisEstablish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), providing regular reports and insights to refine strategies for continuous improvement.What You Will BringBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.Minimum 8 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a similar role.Proven track record of success in public relations and communications, preferably within the finance or technology domains.Expertise in managing global, complex and delicate issues in sensitive environments.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.Strategic thinker with a creative mindset, capable of developing strategy, build programs and execution plans from scratch.Ability in driving cross-functional collaboration and, build relationships to support the success of the work internally and with external stakeholders.Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, high ownership of tasks and evolving priorities.Fluency in English is required, with proficiency in other regional languages preferred.
