Join our team and be a part of an exciting evolution in the industry.The Associate Manager (Finance), Malaysia, is responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of finance operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, statutory requirements, and internal financial policies both regionally and locally. This role also supports group-wide finance activities, including consolidation, reporting, budgeting, and audit coordination.In addition, the role will work closely with the Singapore finance team on cross-border matters such as financial reporting, process alignment, system enhancements, and finance-related projects across the region.This is a cross-border role requiring strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders across both Malaysia and Singapore.Key Responsibilities:Responsible for full set of accounting processes and tasks (i.e. AP & AR process, GL, account reconciliation etc.) for a few entitiesPrepare consolidated financial statementsDevelop and implement transfer pricing modelsReview monthly management accounts, financial statements and resolve discrepanciesCoordinate with internal and external parties including external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities where requiredIn-charge of submission of all tax and regulatory filing, statutory audits, procedures and formsLead new processes and system implementationRequirementsDiploma/Degree in Accounting or a related disciplineMinimum 5 years relevant experience within Banking & Finance or Fintech industry is a MustExperience in leading a teamStrong understanding/appreciation of excel, accounting software, automation tools using APIGood knowledge of relevant technologies (e.g. RPA) or methodologies (e.g MACRO, VBA) to improve user experience and streamline work processesDetail-oriented, self-motivated, resourceful and proactiveWilling to challenge status quoPreferably trilingual to communicate with in-house stakeholders - (English, Chinese and Malay)Note: You must be willing to commute to Singapore (Shenton Way / Tanjong Pagar) 3–5 days per week for training purposes unless stated otherwise by the hiring team or when probation ends, whichever first. (Transportation Allowance will be given when needed to commute)
