DeVoe & Company is seeking an Associate, Managing Director Consulting & Investment Banking  to join our team. Our team includes highly experienced industry professionals with backgrounds in strategy consulting and investment banking, most of whom have been former C-level executives of RIAs with $1B to $200B+ in assetsPosition Summary / ResponsibilitiesAs an Associate Managing Director at DeVoe & Company, you will serve as a key member of our consulting and investment banking team. You will lead or co-lead client engagements focused on strategic consulting, valuations, and M&A advisory for firms in the RIA and broader wealth management ecosystem. This role is ideal for professionals who have developed meaningful experience in investment banking, management consulting, corporate development, or the RIA industry, and are ready to take on increasing leadership responsibility while continuing to build toward Managing Director level.·           Strategic decisions and business planning·           Growth strategies·           Succession planning·           Incentive compensation plans·           Career pathing and partnership criteria·           Cap table engineering·           Modeling complex financial situations; valuations·      Buy side and sell side representationSkillsThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:·           Lead smaller client engagements and support Managing Directors on complex projects·           Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to develop client recommendations·           Build and refine financial models, including DCF and transaction analyses·           Contribute to the drafting of client materials such as pitch books, valuations, LOIs, and deal memos·           Support due diligence and transaction execution processes·           Develop compelling client presentations using structured thinking and narrative design (e.g., the Minto Pyramid Principle)·           Participate in targeted outreach to buyers, sellers, and strategic partners·           Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high-quality engagement delivery·           Help mentor Analysts and Associates; contribute to firm knowledge sharing and process improvementQualifications·           Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred·           6–10 years of relevant experience in investment banking, management consulting, corporate development, or the wealth management industry·           Demonstrated ability to analyze complex business situations and develop actionable recommendations·           Strong financial modeling and valuation skills·           Excellent written and verbal communication abilities — able to translate data into strategic insights·           Exceptional attention to detail combined with a strategic mindset·           Highly collaborative team player with a strong work ethic·           Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and related analytical toolsCompensation and BenefitsCompensation: $ 170 – 400K (Base + Bonus) - Final compensation will be dependent on various factors relevant to the position and candidate such as geographical location, qualifications, certifications, relevant job-related work experience, education, skillset and other relevant business factors, consistent with applicable law.Bonus potential based on performance and company resultsMedical reimbursement for employee plus eligible dependents401(k) Profit Sharing Plan, Paid Time Off, and Nine (9) paid holidays100% remote work environment.
