Participate in improving preventative maintenance program. Write and troubleshooting of PLC and HMI programsGuide suppliers and tools and fixture designAssure fixture and tools follow guidelines, quality and safety requirementsSupport on Industry 4.0 implementationWrite documentation for manufacturing operations (Work Instructions, SOP's, Control Plans, PFMEA's)Design and discuss the area/plant layout. Assists Process Engineering in examining Capacity requirements and defining the technical equipment. Assisting Process Engineering in the creation of work plans, parts lists and work instructions. Assists in product decommissioning/exiting serial production into spare part production. Acquisition, delivery and serial production readiness process, from inquiry until start of serial production (until APQP Production handover)Plan & implement capital improvement projects. Support launch new products and programs. THE ENVIRONMENTSafety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as safety glasses, steel or composite toe shoes, and in limited cases hearing protection. The work on the shopfloor is within a non-climate-controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise.  This position is in support of a 24-7 manufacturing environment. While standard work schedule is Mon-Fri/ 8-5, flexibility of work hours is required as needed. QualificationsWHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE Bachelors Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering requiredExcellent computer skills in MS Office, AutoCad, SolidWorks, Unigraphics experience a plus but will trainCapable of effectively applying technical knowledge to solve a range of problemsPLC experienceSmall scale control system design and buildPerform critical analysis, evaluate and provide new ideasRelocation will not be offered for this roleLegal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
