Electrical Engineer

Advantage Technical is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a direct hire role at a leading global company that deploys subsea fiber optic cables. Join a team that ensures reliable, high-speed connectivity for enterprises, governments, and communities worldwide.What You’ll Do:Maintain and troubleshoot AC/DC drives, PLCs, and HMI systems.Support plant power distribution, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and data acquisition systems.Perform electrical design, modifications, instrumentation upgrades, and troubleshooting.Manage Arc Flash analysis, safety labeling, and compliance with GMP, OSHA, NEC, NFPA, ANSI, and UL standards.Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency, quality, and production output.What You Bring:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.Strong experience with PLCs, HMIs, industrial drives, and AutoCAD.Knowledge of electrical safety standards, Arc Flash analysis, and LOTO procedures.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and teamwork skills.Why This Role: This is a direct hire opportunity to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment with a company making a global impact on communications infrastructure.
