Job Description

Atlas Footwear Ltd. is looking for Asst. MerchandiserJob Description / ResponsibilityAct as the primary liaison between buyers and the production team, ensuring smooth and timely communication throughout the product development and order cycle.Manage the complete merchandising process from sample development, costing, order confirmation, raw material sourcing, production follow-up to final shipment.Coordinate with design and development teams to understand buyer requirements and ensure accurate execution of samples and bulk orders.Prepare time and action (TNA) calendars and ensure all deadlines are met for sample submission, approvals, production, and delivery.Monitor production status and proactively address any potential delays or quality concerns by working closely with factory teams.Negotiate with suppliers and vendors for raw materials, trims, packaging, and logistics to maintain cost efficiency and quality.Maintain all relevant documentation including purchase orders, costing sheets, approval records, and buyer correspondence.Handle buyer visits, virtual meetings, and factory walkthroughs as needed.Collaborate with QA and QC teams to ensure all quality standards and compliance requirements are met.Continuously track fashion/market trends and buyer preferences to offer competitive and relevant product ideas.Must be proficient in English (both spoken and written) for effective communication with international clients.Should be computer-friendly with good knowledge of MS Office, emails, and relevant software/tools used in merchandising.Educational RequirementsBachelor/HonorsExperience Requirements1 to 3 year(s)The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):Tannery/FootwearAdditional RequirementsThe applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Strong knowledge of advance excel & PowerPoint.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Production/ Operation Management, Quality Assurance/ Quality Control, Reporting and Documentation, Market analysis., Time and action, English Communication Skill, Suppliers and Vendor Management, Good communication and coordination skills, Proficiency in the use of computer Office programs for: Office Management, Buyer Compliance Management.Job LocationDhaka (Baridhara)SalaryTk. 20000 - 22000 (Monthly)
