Demerara Distillers Limited & Subsidiaries (DDL) is seeking applications from interested persons with the requisite qualifications and experience for the position of Audit Coordinator. Main duties and responsibilitiesConduct comprehensive reviews of capital projects to ensure compliance across tender processes, project execution, and contract management.Ensure compliance with System Notes, including pre-qualification systems for contractors.Manage and achieve assigned audit plans and ensure diligence in the collection and analysis of audit evidence.Recommend improvements in tender processes using the guidelines of UNCITRAL.Finalization of audit reports ensuring technical soundness and adherence to standards.Preparation of the annual work programme.Assist in administrative duties for the effective functioning of the department.Minimum qualifications and experienceACCA level III, or a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, procurement, project management, or a related field from a recognised university.Three (3) years in auditing in a manufacturing-type company focusing on procurement/project management experience would be an asset.Experience as a team leader experience would be an asset.Excellent communication, analytical, leadership, and report writing skills.Ability to work flexible hours, and exercise tactful professional judgments.Kindly submit your application to:The Recruitment and Engagement Manager Demerara Distillers Limited Plantation Great Diamond, East Bank DemeraraEmail: recruitment@demrum.com
