Job Description

In 2020, G Mining Ventures (GMIN) was created to acquire direct ownership of projects and capitalize on the value uplift that successful mine development offers. In July 2024, GMIN has acquired the Oko West project. The Oko West Project is a new gold discovery in northwest Guyana. It is located south of the historical “Oko” gold district, some 95 km west of Georgetown.To ensure the achievement of this large-scale project, G Mining Ventures is looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of: Control AnalystKey ResponsibilitiesMaintain document organization, version control, and traceability of construction and QAQC records.Receive, register, verify, and distribute incoming and outgoing documents in accordance with project documentation procedures.Check documents for completeness, correct formatting, proper signatures, and alignment with project requirements.Support the upload, metadata input, and classification of records within the company’s document management system.Track outstanding documents, missing information, and late submissions, following up with responsible parties when required.Assist QAQC and construction teams by providing updated document lists, revisions, and controlled copies.Ensure consistency of naming conventions, filing structure, and documentation workflow.Collaborate with engineering, QAQC, construction, and contractors to clarify documentation needs and ensure timely submissions.Work effectively within a remote, multicultural, and multidisciplinary construction environment.Qualifications/Skills And ExperienceCurrently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering, information management, administration, or related fieldsOR Completed Technical Diploma in Construction, Civil Engineering Technician, Mechanical Technician, Administration, or related areas.Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).Basic understanding of engineering or construction documentation.1-2 years of experience in construction, engineering support, office administration, or documentation handling in industrial environmentsExperience with document control activities, filing systems, or structured documentation workflows.Familiarity with document management platforms or controlled document processes (no system names cited).Ability to maintain accurate, organized, and complete documentation.Attention to detail and consistency in record-keeping.Experience in construction or engineering environments is an asset.Advanced Excel skills (filters, pivot tables, basic formulas, formatting).Ability to work effectively in multicultural and multidisciplinary teams.Ability to work in remote areas and rotation schedules.Adaptability, willingness to learn, and proactive approach to improving processes.Good communication skills and strong work ethic.Working ConditionsWork Schedule – 14 days on/7 days OffTransport, accommodations, and meals provided on site.Compensation PackagePermanent, full-time roleCompetitive SalaryCompetitive benefits, bonus and group insurances
