The firm possesses a world-class base of cross-disciplinary professionals who are available to assist clients with all issues relating to business start-up and operation, transactions, licensing and regulatory matters.Audit Senior - Job descriptionWe are looking for a fully qualified CA, ACCA or CPA to join our team in DIFC as an Audit SeniorYou will be expected to meet client commitments on external and internal audit engagements by executing the audit and completing audit files within the specified timeframe of the engagementYou will be required to perform specific audit engagements to the high standard of quality expected of employees of the firm, whilst demonstrating the firm values of: working as a team, focusing on our clients and targets, being a leader, and behaving with pride and enthusiasm and success for and through our peopleYou will be assisting with the planning of external and internal audits, including budgeting, staffing planning and participation in audit planning meetingsYou will be coordinating the audit engagement from planning to completion within the stipulated time frame and with the required expected level of qualityYou will be developing strong working relationships with the client and the client staff involvedYou will be delegating to junior team members, provide on the job training and provide feedback.Requirements:CA/ACCA/CPA (or equivalent) qualificationMust be currently based in the UAE and must have a minimum of 4-5 years of external audit experience gained with a mid-tier or one of the Big 4 audit firms in the UAEMust have in-depth knowledge of IFRSPreference will be given to candidates that are currently working in an audit firmThe ability to build strong client knowledge and act as an extension to the clientThe ability to liaise and coordinate effectively with members of the team and other service lines across the firmA real team-player with a 'can-do' attitudeA keen interest in working in a challenging and sociable environmentA commitment to continuous learning and to improve your own technical expertise
