Auditor

Job Summary:We are seeking experienced and detail-oriented Auditors / Audit Officers to join our team in Ibadan.The successful candidates will be responsible for conducting internal audits, ensuring compliancewith regulatory standards, evaluating financial records, and helping to strengthen internal controls.This role is critical in promoting accountability and transparency within the organization.Key Responsibilities:● Plan and execute internal audits in line with the annual audit plan.● Evaluate financial and operational processes to identify risks, weaknesses, andinefficiencies.● Review accounting records, reports, and systems for accuracy and compliance withapplicable standards and regulations.● Recommend improvements to internal controls, systems, and processes.● Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management.● Ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and relevant tax or financial regulations.● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the implementation of auditrecommendations.● Monitor compliance with ICAN/CITN standards and financial best practices.● Follow up on previous audits to ensure that recommendations have been implemented.Qualifications & Requirements:● HND or B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, or related field.● ICAN or CITN certification is mandatory.● Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant work experience in internal or external audit.● Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and audit procedures.● Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.● Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; experience with accounting software isan added advantage.● High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
