Automation Engineer – Construction

They produce an eco-friendly solution for the construction industry and have a trusted brand name in their industry.About the jobIn this role, you will be based in the Kuala Lumpur site and manage projects relating to automated mechanical systems within the facility, overseeing equipment such as Chillers, Compressors, HVAC systems, and exhaust systems. The role involves establishing system criteria and performance specifications in accordance with specific operational requirements, including compliance with building and safety codes.Key Responsibilities: Taking responsibilities on strategizing and carrying out trials for new and existing projectsConstruct electrical circuits diagrams using PLC program and SCADA/HMI softwareDevelop control system architecture and electrical schematic drawings for a localized control panel intended for an environmentally friendly waste collection systems.Carry out factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT) according to the scheduled timeline.Conduct troubleshooting and analysis on technical support as needed.Working closely with the Sales Team on new projects to meet client expectationsConduct product and system trials prior to handing over to the customer.Job Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.Based in or willing to work in Kuala LumpurMinimum of 1-2 years of work experience in PLC programming, SCADA or HMI development and designing electrical circuits.Knowledge in Beckhoff PLC programming will be an added advantage.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, partnering with fellow engineers to address breakdown issues and propose technical solutions.What’s on offer: A meritocratic environment with exciting career progression opportunitiesCompetitive remuneration and benefits (Basic salary range RM 4,000- RM 4,500)The chance to be part of a stable and growing industry that makes a difference in people’s lives
