About The Role:We are seeking a Technology Architect with deep expertise in AWS Cloud and strong hands-on coding skills to lead the design and delivery of enterprise solutions. You will own solution architecture end-to-end from discovery and design through build, deployment, and operations technical leadership, client engagement, and operational excellence.Location: SofiaWork pattern: Hybrid- 2 days per week in office (Sofia)Contract Type: PermanentHiring Process: 2 stagesSalary: €72,000 Gross/a DOE (client flexible and willing to accept higher expectations) + benefits package + bonusYou Must Have:Strong AWS expertise: EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS/DynamoDB, VPC, CloudWatch, IAM, CloudFront, SNS/SQS, KMS.Hands-on coding experience in JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, Java, or Python.Expertise in CI/CD, IaC, and cloud security best practices.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Preferred: 10–12 years in enterprise application development, 5+ years designing on AWS.AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect – Professional, DevOps Engineer – Professional).Experience with serverless-first patterns, microservices, and service meshes.Knowledge of FinOps, multi-region DR/HA designs, and zero-downtime releases.Background in eCommerce/ERP/digital transformation programs.What Are You Going To Be Responsible For:Architect AWS Solutions: Design secure, scalable, and cost-efficient architectures (multi-tier, serverless, event-driven, microservices).Hands-on Development: Contribute to full-stack builds (React/Angular, Node.js/Java/Python), APIs (REST/GraphQL), and IaC (CloudFormation/Terraform).Integration & Data: Model data for relational and NoSQL databases; implement caching and streaming solutions.Delivery Excellence: Establish CI/CD pipelines, quality gates, and deployment strategies (blue/green, canary).Security & Compliance: Enforce IAM best practices, encryption, and guardrails (WAF, Security Hub, Config).Performance & Cost Optimization: Optimize latency, throughput, and TCO using autoscaling and cost controls.Reliability & Operations: Drive incident/problem management, RCA, observability, and define SLIs/SLOs.Leadership: Mentor engineers, set coding standards, and lead multiple development squads.Client Engagement: Translate business needs into technical roadmaps, run workshops, and manage stakeholder expectations.Ready to architect the future?Apply now and join a team where innovation meets impact.We have different open roles in Sofia for the same client so, if you know anyone who is looking for new opportunities, please let me know.
