Azure Network Engineer

Job Summary: Azure Network EngineerLoc : North Carolina Design, implement, and manage Azure-based networking infrastructure, ensuring scalability, performance, and security across multiple environments. Support the Senior Cloud Architect in managing and securing Azure networking solutions, including hybrid connectivity (on-premises to Azure). Collaborate cross-functionally with DevOps and Security teams to maintain a compliant and robust cloud infrastructure. Act as a senior escalation point for complex network issues, troubleshooting, and incident response. Develop, maintain, and optimize automation scripts (ARM Templates, Bicep, PowerShell) for Azure network deployment and configuration management. Monitor, diagnose, and optimize network performance using Azure-native tools (Network Watcher, Azure Monitor). Manage and enforce firewall and security policies across both cloud and on-premises networks. Support new network solution designs, migrations, and ongoing infrastructure improvements. Apply cloud and network security best practices, including zero-trust principles, intrusion detection, and web proxy configuration. Maintain multi-subscription and multi-environment Azure network architecture, including ExpressRoute, Virtual WAN, VPN Gateway, Private Link, and BGP peering.
