Background Information Career Options Africa Group is a HR Consultancy firm specialized in Recruitment, HR outsourcing and Immigration support in Africa with offices in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Burundi, Nigeria, South Africa and South Sudan. Our client, a leading energy company in East Africa, is seeking a driven, results-oriented, and commercially astute B2B Sales Lead to join their team in Tanzania.  THE JOB The B2B Sales Lead will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the sale of transit fuels from Tanzania, focusing on cross-border clients, transporters, and strategic partners. The Sales lead will build strong relationships, identify new business opportunities, and ensure seamless execution of transit sales operations  MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES.  Identify and onboard new transit customers including transporters, clearing agents and regional traders. To negotiate term and spot supply agreements with local and Export resellers/Independent retailers to reach sales targets. Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention. Coordinate with operations, finance and depot teams to ensure timely deliveries and accurate billing. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting transit sales.  Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations, including customs and border protocols. Represent the company at industry forums, trade events, and customer engagements. To manage the level of Gross margin per customer and ensure it is sufficient to cover all the below-the-line costs. Manage existing customer relationships and ensure continued business volume. Monitor key accounts performance trends and determine appropriate actions to address any issues to optimize the business and deliver best-in-class customer service and compliance to credit policy. Key point of contact in budgeting for B2B sales volume planning, tracking, reporting and compiling relevant reports for management use. Other tasks as required by the business QUALIFICATIONS The job holder should have the following qualifications.  A first degree in Business or Marketing or any relevant discipline Ability to demonstrate hands-on experience in sales or marketing roles where one has established the ability to meet targets, lead initiatives, and adapt to industry trends 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in petroleum sales, logistics or transit services. Strong understanding of Tanzania’s transport corridors and border dynamics. Membership of a relevant professional body.  THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THE JOB  The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and competencies. Business acumen. Leadership and Team Management experience.  Strong communication and negotiation skills. Strong problem-solving skills. Excellent Customer Relationship Management experience.  WHAT WE ARE OFFERING THE RIGHT PERSON We are offering a competitive salary to the successful candidate. HOW TO APPLY Visit www.careeroptionsafricagroup.com and www.hreastafrica.com for more details on this position. Send CV only to recruitment.tz@careeroptionsafricagroup.com by 5th November 2025 subject heading, as B2B SALES LEAD (REGIONAL SALES) -TANZANIA.
