Background Information Career Options Africa Group is a HR Consultancy firm specialized in Recruitment, HR outsourcing and Immigration support in Africa with offices in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Burundi, Nigeria, South Africa and South Sudan. Our client, a worldwide leading organization in construction materials, dedicated to drainage and water treatment solutions, is actively seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Sales Manager to join their exceptional team in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.  THE JOB As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and leveraging technical knowledge to provide tailored solutions. This role requires a strong sales attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to understand and articulate technical concepts.  MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES.  Business Development:  Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets.  Develop and implement strategies to expand the company's customer base and increase sales.  Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential clients.  Sales and Relationship Management:  Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.  Present and demonstrate products and services to potential clients, highlighting technical features and benefits.  Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales targets.  Technical Expertise:  Utilize technical knowledge to understand client needs and provide customized solutions.  Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to inform business strategies.  Strategic Planning:  Develop and execute business development plans aligned with company goals.  Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and identify areas for improvement.  Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on market analysis and client feedback.  Team Collaboration:  Work closely with the client’s office to align business development efforts with overall company objectives.  Customer Service:  Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.  Gather and analyse client feedback to improve products and services. QUALIFICATIONS The job holder should have the following qualifications.  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field Must have proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar role, with a strong sales track record in technical sales products Must have experience in construction business materials (hotel projects in Zanzibar) and Food &Beverage industries Must have your own personal car  THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THE JOB  The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and competencies. Must be fluent in English and Swahili Must have Knowledge of drainage systems and waste/water treatment systems  Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.  Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Leadership and team management skills.  Creative thinking and innovation  WHAT WE ARE OFFERING THE RIGHT PERSON We are offering the successful candidate a monthly gross salary of USD 1900, mileage allowance, end of year bonus and health insurance  HOW TO APPLY Visit www.careeroptionsafricagroup.com and www.hreastafrica.com for more details on this position. Send CV only to recruitment.tz@careeroptionsafricagroup.com by 10th November 2025 subject heading, as SALES MANAGER -TANZANIA.
