Role OverviewBackend Developer (47 Years Experience)We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in building scalable microservices, designing resilient APIs, and optimizing data-intensive applications. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting backend services that power mission-critical applications, ensuring exceptional performance, security, and reliability.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain microservices-based backend applications.Build and optimize REST APIs to ensure seamless integration with frontend and third-party systems.Implement effective caching strategies with Redis to enhance application performance.Develop event-driven solutions utilizing Kafka for real-time data processing.Work with Postgres and MongoDB to design efficient, scalable, and reliable data models.Ensure that backend services meet the highest standards of security, scalability, and performance optimization.Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Frontend, QA, and Product, to deliver comprehensive features.Write clean, maintainable, and testable code that adheres to industry best practices.Required SkillsStrong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot or similar frameworks).Experience with Redis cache, Kafka, Postgres, and MongoDB.Hands-on expertise in Microservices architecture.Advanced skills in REST API design and development.Solid understanding of system design principles, scalability, and performance optimization.Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.Good-to-HaveKnowledge of Docker/Kubernetes for containerized deployments.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).Exposure to unit testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, and others.
