As a Bakery Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious baked goods, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and food safety.Develop and execute a diverse menu of baked goods, including breads, pastries, and dessertsOversee daily bakery operations, including production scheduling and inventory managementTrain and supervise bakery staff, ensuring adherence to recipes and quality standardsImplement and maintain food safety and hygiene practices in compliance with local regulationsCollaborate with the culinary team to create seasonal and specialty itemsMonitor and control food costs while maintaining product qualityStay current with baking trends and techniques to innovate and improve offeringsEnsure proper storage and handling of ingredients and finished productsParticipate in menu planning and recipe developmentMaintain a clean and organized work environmentQualificationsCulinary degree or diploma in baking and pastry artsMinimum 3-5 years of experience in a professional bakery or restaurant settingProven expertise in various baking techniques and methodsStrong skills in recipe development and modificationThorough understanding of food safety and hygiene practicesExcellent time management and organizational skillsDemonstrated leadership abilities and team management experienceCreativity and passion for culinary arts, especially bakingKnowledge of Egyptian and international baking traditionsProficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plusValid food safety certificationAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailFlexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
