To assist with all requirements for excellent and efficient service to the guests.Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssist with opening, sides, and closing duties, such as restocking the bar with garnish, straw, etc.Ensuring the bar is well stocked with ice, bar mixers, liquor, wine, and beer.Check taps and appliances to confirm that they are working properly.Keeping the bar clean by wiping down surfaces, sweeping and mopping, and removing any soiled glassware and utensils.Help the bartender with anything that he or she may need to ensure a smooth working environment.Run food and clear plates.Clean drink spills and sweep broken glassware.Take out the trash throughout the shift and collect empty glasses from the barIs always in compliance with the company’s uniform and grooming standards.Maintains good work relationships with fellow staff members.Ensure a high standard of service efficiency, sanitation, and training.Repair sink clogs and clean mats behind the bar.Restock for the next shift, including the juices, bar mix, liquor, and beers before the next ship day.Restock beer and liquor delivery that came in during the day.Notify the bartender or manager of low inventory.Track opening or closing liquor inventory, set and tear down the bar at each shift closing and opening.Ensure a harassment-free environment through proper personal conduct.Use respectful language with Guests, Staff Members, and Managers always.Respond appropriately in emergency situations to avoid danger to self, Staff Members, and Guests; remain calm always.Understand and utilize all safety and sanitation practices as in the health and safety program.Complete required and ongoing training for the positionAssist management in training new staff members within the department when applicable.Performs other related duties as assigned or as directed.
