Lazy Bear is a unique, seasonal fine dining restaurant. We’re looking for professionals seeking to elevate their hospitality skills in a vibrant, fine-dining setting. We will deepen your connection to food and the essence of service, while letting you express your big personality and have the most fun you could possibly have in a Michelin-level job.Our cocktail program is seasonally driven and influenced by culinary techniques. Lazy Bear is a great opportunity to learn and execute new techniques behind the bar, as well as hone your skills in hospitality.Qualifications:2 year previous bartending experience in restaurant/hospitality/entertainment in bar service Knowledge of food & beverage preparation and serviceSpirit and classic cocktail knowledge a must, and the eagerness to learn moreStrong understanding of restaurant industry systems, policies and proceduresComprehensive knowledge of standard fine dining protocol, but with our unique sense of friendly hospitalityGreat attention to detailAbility to multitask and be team orientedResourceful, clean & organized working habits with attention to detail. Knowledge of mise en placeProfessional demeanor and appearance Flexible with varying schedules to reflect the business needsAbility to remain calm in fast-paced, high-pressure situationsExcellent communication skillsMust be able to fluently speak/read/write EnglishFood Handler’s CertificationRBS CertificationConcept of Bar Program:To mirror the kitchen’s use of seasonal ingredients in the N/A and Cocktail program. To work closely with the Beverage Director on new and upcoming pairings, offerings. Work closely with the morning prep crew to process seasonal ingredients. Cocktails are classics, with twists via the seasonal produce. Continue to help source unique old & rare spirits. Maintain proper barware.
