Big Data Engineer

As Software Engineer ODS you will design, implement, and maintain data streaming solutions by consolidated data from multiple master data sources and provide it to customer facing products (e.g. Report manager, Liquidity Overview). SQLDB based.· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architecture requirements and ensure smooth integration of Kafka into existing systems.· Optimize performance and scalability of Kafka clusters.· Develop monitoring tools to ensure high availability and reliability of the streaming infrastructure.· troubleshoot and resolve any Kafka-related issues· Competence profile· +5 years in software engineering with a focus on operational data storage systems.· A bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.· Proficiency in SQL database management and optimization.· Experience with designing large-scale data processing systems.· Strong understanding of data integration techniques from multiple sources.· Knowledge of ODL/EAP frameworks and Confluent Platform applications is a plus.· Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot complex issues swiftly while proposing effective solutions.· Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for articulating technical concepts clearly to stakeholders.
